Having become familiar with Metamorf through Liam Marshall’s Master’s thesis, "Possible Applications of Analytics and Data Science in the Legal Industry," they engaged Metamorf to explore how data could drive innovation.

Metamorf’s consulting team interviewed lawyers, legal operations, and IT staff, identifying tasks like pricing, performance insights, and finding colleagues with language skills that were unnecessarily time-consuming. Data to automate these processes was either missing or difficult to access. Metamorf then crafted a strategy advising the firm to capture a new type of data, improve accessibility, and develop tools to address these inefficiencies, backed by a financial rationale.
The impact it had
Metamorf’s strategy document laid the foundation for the firm’s significant investment in data and analytics. A few years later, the firm is recognised as a leader in data-driven pricing, they are able to pitch with more authority, and its applications of the newly captured data have won multiple industry awards.
