Metamorf’s contribution
Metamorf was commissioned to build models that identify business opportunities, focusing on four key sectors, including Healthcare and Private Equity. We analysed the legal services these industries typically need and the events that trigger demand, such as regulatory changes in Healthcare. We also considered internal signals, like lateral hires or new clients with cross-selling potential. Metamorf developed models that scanned primary sources for insights and built an application that alerted lawyers and business development teams to new opportunities. The app provided detailed information about each opportunity and enabled them to take immediate action.
The impact it had
In the first six months, 10,000 opportunities were identified, representing over £30 million in potential revenue. Many of the opportunities acted upon were successfully converted, and cross-selling activity increased. As a result, more practice groups joined the initiative.
