We’re proud to announce that our work was a driving force behind Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) winning the ‘Innovation in Data-enhanced Knowledge’ award. Collaborating closely with HSF, Metamorf transformed how arbitration data is structured, accessed, and utilised.

We helped create a dataset of 1,000 arbitration matters, designing a robust data structure and taxonomy while leading a complex data migration, cleaning, and transformation effort. Previously scattered across Excel files and disparate systems, the data is now centralised, actionable, and invaluable.

Metamorf also built tools to capture and query data, including APIs, dashboards, a matter directory, and arbitrator conflict checkers. Additionally, our research uncovered insights into duration, cost, and outcomes, empowering HSF to communicate with clients more effectively.
